Robert Kingsbury is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist trained in the Biodynamic tradition by Stillpoint Institute, NYC with Franklyn Sills. His practice also integrates Peter Levine's practice of Somatic Experiencing & Jean-Pierre Barral's Visceral Manipulation work, both of which he continues to study. Robert's backgrounds in contemporary dance, somatic research and musical composition deeply inform his understanding of experiential anatomy, attentional presence-based practices and deep listening. As a practitioner he offers a process-based approach to somatic therapy supported by both intuitive modes and established methods. Combining deep anatomical awareness with a spacious client-centered relationality, the healing process is invited to emerge and integrate on multiple levels.

you touch everything."

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Gentle meditative touch facilitates a settling beyond the survival-based states of the nervous system, allowing deep tissue holding patterns to resolve protective and habitual responses and re-orient to resource, center, stillness.
Involving talk and potentially touch, SE works through the conscious shifting of attention in ways that play with old patterns of responding. New and old experiences can be integrated, allowing clients to come back into relationship with self, body, world and other.
Open up and meet gravity anew through a customized combination of connective tissue unwinding, balancing of joint tensions, visceral manipulation, deep tissue work, Eva Reich's butterfly touch massage & craniosacral stillpoint.
